An unidentified drone caused concern in France after being seen monitoring a convoy of Leclerc tanks at the Mulhouse railway station, between the nights of November 11 and 12.

The police reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office that the drone flew over the local police station just before appearing in the area where the armored vehicles, recently returned from military exercises, were being transported by train. Witnesses stated that the drone, without any lighting, made back-and-forth flights before disappearing.

Authorities are now focusing on identifying who was piloting the device. This incident adds to the growing tension surrounding similar occurrences reported in several European countries in recent months, where unknown drones have been seen flying over strategic installations and sensitive infrastructure points.

In the same week, another illegal flight was registered at the Eurenco factory in Bergerac, responsible for producing gunpowder for artillery, prompting the Public Prosecutor’s Office to open an investigation. The increase in these incidents has already led countries like Germany, Belgium, and Sweden to temporarily close their airspace, and even prompted the deployment of German military personnel to Belgium to reinforce monitoring against suspicious drones.
